A private motorcycle ride with a verified local rider in Morocco costs from 250 MAD for one hour in Marrakech or Tangier and 280 MAD in Casablanca, up to 600 MAD for four hours in Marrakech and 680 MAD in Casablanca. On Warider, that price is fixed and shown before you confirm, the passenger helmet is included, and you pay the rider in cash at the end. Tours work slightly differently: each rider sets the price of their own tour, and it is displayed on the tour page.

Below you will find the full price table, what the price covers, how tours are priced and how payment works on the day.

Instant ride prices by city

Warider has two ways to ride. The first is Find a Rider, an instant ride of 1 to 4 hours: you pick your city, duration, interests, start time and meeting point, and Warider sets a fixed price. Here are the prices, as the total paid by the traveller in Moroccan dirhams (MAD):

City 1 hour 2 hours 3 hours 4 hours Riding hours (local time)
Marrakech 250 MAD 350 MAD 480 MAD 600 MAD Every day, 09:00 to 22:00
Casablanca 280 MAD 400 MAD 540 MAD 680 MAD 09:00 to 23:00
Tangier 250 MAD 350 MAD 480 MAD Not available 10:00 to 19:00
Agadir Tours only Tours only Tours only Tours only 09:00 to 21:00

A few things are worth noticing:

  • Longer rides cost less per hour. In Marrakech, one hour costs 250 MAD, while four hours cost 600 MAD, which works out at 150 MAD per hour.
  • Tangier is in soft launch, with fewer riders for now, so the longest instant ride there is 3 hours.
  • Agadir is tours only for the moment. Instant rides will open once enough riders are verified in the city.

What the price includes

The fixed price is not a starting rate that grows on the way. It covers the whole ride for one passenger:

  • A verified local rider. Every rider is checked before going online: identity, driving licence, insurance, motorcycle documents and passenger helmet.
  • An approved passenger helmet, carried by the rider for you.
  • The full duration you chose, with a route shaped around the interests you selected (for example viewpoints, food or photo stops).
  • A fixed price shown before you confirm, so there is nothing to negotiate at the end.
  • In-app chat with automatic translation, so you can agree on details with your rider even if you do not share a language.
  • Nothing charged online. You do not enter a card. You pay the rider in cash once the ride is over.

The price covers the ride itself. Anything you buy along the way, such as a mint tea, a snack or an entrance ticket to a monument, is your own expense. Entrance fees change often, so check them locally.

How tour prices work

The second way to ride is a tour. Tours are routes designed by local riders, with ordered stops, a mapped two-wheeler route, photos and weekly time slots. Because each rider builds their own experience, each rider also sets the price of their tour. You will always see it on the tour page before you book, so you can compare tours calmly.

For example, the featured Marrakech Sunset Ride lasts 2 hours and is built around the golden hour over the city. To see current tours and their prices, browse the city pages:

Instant ride or tour: which one fits you?

Both options use verified riders and the same cash payment at the end. The difference is mostly about flexibility and planning:

Instant ride (Find a Rider) Tour
Who sets the price Warider, fixed by city and duration The rider, shown on the tour page
When you ride The start time you pick, within city hours Weekly time slots
Route Shaped around your chosen interests Designed in advance, with ordered stops
Best for Spontaneous plans, a free afternoon A specific theme, such as sunset
Payment Cash to the rider at the end Cash to the rider at the end

If you already know what you want to see, a tour is a simple choice. If you prefer to decide on the day, an instant ride gives you a rider in a few minutes.

How booking and payment work on the day

Here is what happens from the moment you open the app to the moment you pay:

  1. Choose your city, duration, interests, start time and meeting point. Meeting points must be inside the city's riding area. In Marrakech you can meet at Jemaa el-Fna (in front of Café de France), the Koutoubia gardens entrance, the main gate of Jardin Majorelle or Place du 16 Novembre in Gueliz. In Casablanca, the Hassan II Mosque esplanade or Place Mohammed V. In Tangier, the Grand Socco.
  2. See the fixed price before you confirm.
  3. Your request goes to nearby verified riders. The first rider to accept is reserved for you for 5 minutes while you confirm.
  4. Meet your rider, put on the passenger helmet and enjoy the ride.
  5. Pay in cash at the end, the exact amount you saw before confirming.

A practical tip: carry the amount in dirhams, ideally in small notes, so settling up takes a few seconds.

Tips to get the most out of your budget

  • Start short if it is your first time. One or two hours is enough to know if you enjoy riding as a passenger. Our guide for first-time motorcycle passengers explains what to expect.
  • Go longer to combine neighbourhoods. Three or four hours let you link several areas of the city without rushing, at a lower price per hour.
  • Time it well. Late afternoon and early evening are pleasant for riding, especially in the warm months.
  • Dress for the ride. Closed shoes and long trousers make a real difference: see what to wear as a motorcycle passenger.
  • Check how we keep rides safe on the safety page.

The short answer

In Morocco, a Warider instant ride costs 250 to 600 MAD in Marrakech, 280 to 680 MAD in Casablanca and 250 to 480 MAD in Tangier, depending on duration. The price is fixed, the helmet is included, the rider is verified and you pay in cash at the end. Tour prices are set by each rider and shown on the tour page. When you are ready, find a rider in Marrakech or choose another city on Find a Rider.
